The wAP ac LTE kit is equipped with two gigabit Ethernet ports, allowing you to use the built-in LTE modem, which supports 2G, 3G and 4G (LTE Cat. 4) connections. This allows you to enjoy a reliable backup mobile Internet connection, even if you already have a wired ISP. The new version of the device includes the R11eL-EC200A-EU LTE modem, which offers better connectivity and supports the additional B28 band, resulting in a lower price and better connection quality.

Resilience and Security

The WAP ac LTE kit is designed to withstand harsh outdoor conditions. It can be attached to any outdoor wall, and the lower part of the device can be secured with a special anti-vandal screw. Thanks to a hole in the back of the housing, the Ethernet cable can be routed directly behind the device, minimizing the visibility of the installation. The WAP ac LTE kit can be wall-mounted, ceiling-mounted, pole-mounted or placed on a flat surface, thanks to the included stand and mounting brackets.

Flexibility and Efficiency

The device’s LTE module is connected to two indoor antennas via U.FL pigtails, allowing the connection of an external LTE antenna for increased coverage. The device can be powered by passive PoE or 802.3af/at and a DC outlet. The maximum theoretical throughput of the LTE connection is 150 Mbps when downloading data and 50 Mbps when uploading data, which supports multiple bands for wide availability.

Strong Technical Parameters

The MikroTik wAP ac LTE kit is equipped with a 716 MHz quad-core processor and 128 MB of RAM, which guarantees support for heavy loads. The maximum theoretical throughput of wireless transmission is 1200 Mbps (300 Mbps – 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbps – 5 GHz). The omnidirectional antenna used, with a gain of 2.5 dBi, ensures wide wireless coverage. The device has two Gigabit Ethernet ports and dual-chain 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wireless networking for dual simultaneous AP coverage. For ease of use, the wAP ac LTE kit comes with a Micro SIM slot.
